Report a translation problem
while you are mention that you fixed everything, other problem could be if you are missing a clutch or it's broken. (probably this is not your problem here)
Also could be a controller specific issue. Can you share your controller info with us? What are you using and what OS you have.

Have you checked in your options? Mapped the keyboard keys when you're using keyboard and wheel axes/buttons when using wheel? At the top of the control options you can click on arrows to move left and right to different controller types... if none of this helps, contact the devs... They've been giving people with problems personal support when they can...
You have to use ♥♥♥♥♥♥ or set your control to be auto shifting mode! I assume you just forget this, so your car stays in N ?
Already fixed this, only my keyboard is able to be used.
ah... maybe that's why...
I would expect to roll alittle bit slowly of course, not standing still.
You can also use the Main Menu -> Help option to check which parts is belongs to which system.

When you iterate over the controllers (keyboard -> joysticks) make sure you see that controller in the selection.
