Street Rod?

Is this game like the old street Rod games? where you can race people for there car, build up your car, tune the engine and stuff, i quite like the look of it.Also will there be more destruction done to the vehicles the videos dont show much damage to cars.

I'm still playing on C64 the original Street Rod :) so yes that game has some strong influence, this is I think the closest game if you want to compare.
It's not street rod, but has many similarity
- you can build up cars from wreck
- you can race, challenge others
- you bet money or race for cars
- there are damage, a lot.. (we should show more in the videos, true!)

Count me in! Loved the old Street Rod, think I played it on Amiga back then. Been looking for a proper garage/racing sim for a long time!

already aded to whislist. the parts from papers sold me on the spot.
What I hope, is screws and fine tuning for sound, and buy semi-random cars and modify them.
Maybe modding so modders can help fill up your world with more colors as now it looks bland, too bland (maybe a radio on the corner to change music :PPPPPPP)

mod: we have something totally different in our mind.. but first let's see how the single player will goes. If enough player will love it, we go far beyond you can see in any car games today, including a special multiplayer mode.
Radio: on the top of our list.. all of us missing it, but every features push the release and we had to draw a line.

It reminds me of Street Rod , only thing it needs is the diner or pub where you can have the different characters with their cars roll up, talk to them and race for pink slips or money.

working on it, as you can notice, we do have a pub designed for it, but not YET connected...

I remember they were trying to make a 3d remake of street rod when I was just a kid, it never really got off the ground ( I think the devs, i forgot who they were, got in way over their heads) and the website has been down for well over a decade now and this is way further along than it ever was.

If you liked Street Rod 1 & 2 back in the day you will love Revhead for sure.

Hahahaha....i can remember that, too. They still do it!
The website is back and they claim that the game is not dead! :)
