I'm having difficulties with the piggy bank

Ok, I don't understand what I'm doing wrong, but I haven't been starting with $0.00, and I grab ALL of my money from the bank.
Am I doing something wrong? Or something?

There was an update that changed how money worked in the game although based on community feedback I may have to go back and give you guys the option to do the money management again.

Completely fine! I love the game no matter what, but it is a little difficult to play it the way I know how.

Please do NOT go back to the old system! The new system makes it much more fun to play because you don't need to spend excess days farming for money so you can do a mission; every single mission requires money in some way, and I'd much rather keep doing the missions as I go rather than having to stop and gather money cause I'm 2 dollars short for Jerome's mission

hi yeah i'm having the same problem with the piggy bank what exactly does the new update do because the only option i'm getting is to get 10 dollars and have bugs take half if that's what its supposed to do grand just wondering if i'm dumb and doing something wrong lol

Having the same issue above where I can’t select the amount of money I want to carry.

Guys, the update overhauled money completely. You start with 2.50 each day, and can optionally choose to take 10 out and cause Buggs to take half. There's no more choosing the specific amount of money, 2.50 and 10 dollars are your only options. This removes removes the need to farm money between days to make sure you have enough for the mission you're doing
