How do you get Morning Time to start?

At this point, I'm just aimlessly wandering in the schoolyard, just cycling through the dialogue with all characters including the adults. I've accepted to become Nugget's friend and also agreed to put gum in Lily's hair. I've been waiting for around 5-10 minutes or so. When can I move on?

When your apples (lower right hand corner) are used up. They are your actions for that time period. Once you run out of them (sometimes when it's down to one apple) the period will be over and you need to move on. You expend these actions by doing things with the other charcters or hitting the enter key to speed it along. When you speed it along by hitting the enter key you will get paid for each apple you use that way.

Entering through your actions is a quick way to earn some extra money. There's a lot of ways to get money, but that's a very easy beginning move if you need it.
