Glitch in Buggs's Storyline? (Solved)

The first part of the mission is fine, I bring 3.00+ Dollars, tell the teacher, say no to the fight, get the pills from Nugget, got the teacher to say when she's alone under the influence of the pills, tell Buggs everything, and it's still not being checked off. All the dialogue promts show up, all the story takes place, Buggs has no problems with disappearing or anything, and he told me to meet at lunch.

Since the mission isn't getting checked off the list, once you move to the next area it treats it as if the storyline was never started and it's impossible to go back to the previous section. I've replayed this time and time again hoping it was just a thing of chance that would work itself out, but it looks like I'm wrong. I'm just kind of stuck now... I've been playing for many hours and the game is a bit expensive in my opinion for how broken and buggy it can be, so I'm getting kinda frustrated.

To get all the stars, you need to buy the voice recorder from four eyes and make Cindy scream rape after asking why you needed to prove your love to her, and then saying that she isnt pretty. The rest will be provided by the teacher

You have to do the teacher's mission first and ge tthe lunch pass before you can finish Bugg's mission. If you don't bring the lunch pass with you, he'll tell you to meet him at lunch and then act like he doesn't want to

I played around with it a bit and it actually was because I didn't get the pass yet. Just the way the dialogue was really confused me. I thought you could only start earning the stars (Or at least figuring out how to.) once you talked with Buggs about it at lunch. The part in the classroom seems really misleading. He said to ask other kids how to get stars, and no one can tell you anything about it, nor do you have the option to ask anyone. It also implied that you could get help from Buggs in finding out how to get all the stars. I just didn't think the quest was possible at all unless you went that specific route first.

I figured that's probably what it was because I was having the same issues when I first started. I agree that it seems like you have to learn about the stars from Buggs when it's really the teacher that tells you about them. Im glad you solved it!

hey i keep getting an 'error' when i find out when the teacher is alone for the buggs mission, no matter what i do it says i fail when i get to the canteen. Could you help since you sovled it?

It literally says in the posts above lol. You have to finish the teacher's mission first and get the lunch pass otherwise you'll fail Bugg's mission

I've found another issue during Bugg's storyline. Probably has been caught already but worth mentioning I guess:

When Buggs tells you to find out when the teacher is alone, you can simply talk to Buggs about it without actually ever talking to her.

I found that one too. I'm surprised they haven't fixed it yet. It's been noticed quite a bit. I thought that it had something to do with the bug I was initally talking about, I thought if they fixed that thing, it'd fix the other bug. Maybe I was just thinking too much into it.
