I keep moving without touching anything
Just as the title states. I'm moving up to the right slightly and it's messing me up in my choices. Any way to fix this ?

I just recently got the game and I seem to be having a problem with this? I've tried two different controllers and they both have the problem but one going right and the other left.

Hey, sorry you are having problems. Does it work without using controllers?

Yes I can play the game without my controllers (on keyboard) No extra movement on keyboard, I believe it may just be controller based.

I'm having the problem here as well. Just started the game up for the first time and my character is slamming his head into the upper left corner of the room. I mean, that's pretty normal for a kindergarten student.. but still.

I have a 360 controller, and a 3d mouse.. but neither is plugged in at the moment, nor have they been since the computer was last restarted. Tried unplugging my keyboard even, and the character just kept on head butting that wall.

Kinda at a loss for what's causing this.

Add me to the list of people who are having cotrol issues. I'm NOT using a controller, but my character is moving to the upper left corner as well. This also affects the game menus - they constantly scroll to the top. I don't have any other items pugged in besides the keyboard/mouse that could be recognized as a controller.

This one still baffles me. Is there anything about any of your setups that could be triggering it? Think of anything at all that might be confused as a controller. I'm still trying to understand this one fully.

The only other peripherals plugged in besides the mouse/keyboard are a USB hub and an MP3 player dock. I normally use a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse, but for testing purposes I replaced them with a standard USB keyboard and mouse. The behavior in game was the unchanged. If there is any other information that I can provide that would be helpful, please let me know. I'd like to give this game a shot since it seems really interesting, but as it is it's basically unplayable.

Any chance you could try unplugging everything except the mouse and keyboard and give that a shot?

I'm also having the issue, for me its up and to the left. I also have a xbox one wireless controller and a space navigator mouse, though neither are plugged in. (Windows 10 )The space navigator has some questionable mouse emulation that can cause issues with some games like Vessel but being unplugged this shouldn't be the issue. Also the issue persists when the xbox one wireless controller is disabled in device manager.

Unplugging USB items one by one doesn't solve the issue(including mouse and KB), nor does disabling "Human Interface Devices" one by one. However the issue will sometimes go away when alt tabbing back to the game. Have been able to recreate this many times. Sometime alt tabbing will make it stop, and after it stops sometime alt tabbing will make the issue come back.

Looks like some Unity issue to me, if you want me to try something else let me know. Or if you want to make a beta with controller support disabled to narrow it down I can try that too. Good luck.

I'm gonna mess around with more input settings. Thanks so much for your help.

I can confirm what decimus28 said about using Alt+Tab. It took several tries ~10, but at some point, leaving the game via Alt+Tab and then re-entering the program by clicking on the icon in the task bar caused the control issue to go away. It's not pretty, but at least I have a work-around. Thanks!

I don't know if that makes me feel better or worse...

Tried some new things. Looks like there actually was a kmj emulator left over. I've seen this type of issue in a few Unity games. Some games either 1. have an issue selecting the correct controller(usually default) or 2. Average the input from all controllers. In this case it appears to be number 1. The alt tabbing may be resetting the unity controller table(just a guess) causing it to sometimes work. Anyone with the issue on windows should check

Windows 7, 8.1, 10
run(Windows Key + R) "joy.cpl"

Anything more than one entry can cause an issue even if its not plugged in. Especially some leftover 3d mice software as they have a 0,0 calibration typically, so will cause the strangest behavior. As to the fix, conrtoller support in Unity can be weird. The way it fills the table(default not always first) and things like disconnections resesting table can cause some unintended behavior. Not sure what the issue is with the script here but I'd like to know if you find it. Good luck.
