Will the old characters return for kindergarten 2?

Everyone else is dead... I say Lily and Billy because we don't actually see them die, it's possible the principal came out when the sky turned red before dealing with Lily

Yeah...but,the machine terminates Billy if you kill the principal with one of the monsters,but don't unmutate and release billy.

Also, the Hall Monitor is alive, as is the councelor we never see but who the teacher talks about when reading Nugget's note.

Maybe one is the counselor, but yeah, that's at least one more individual, probably two.

Unless I'm missing something,
The only reason you have to release the creature in the Lily story line is because the principal shows up and limits the number of buttons you can press. If Lily somehow got down there on her own, with unlimited time because the principal is dead, she would be able to press the red button first, before pressing the other five like normal, thus killing both creatures, then restoring and releasing Billy.

The code thing is a problem though, since the only way to get it is from Nugget, and that clearly never happened. It's possible the principal keeps the gun in the same drawer as the basement key, and when the sky turned red he left both the drawer and the door open in his haste to get outside, and Lily hid in the bathroom or something until he passed somehow avoiding the hall monitor. That would be a lot of coincidences, so it probably much more likely that the only repeat character will be Nugget.

Another thing I just though of, the only two people Nugget likes in the game (besides you in certain paths) are Lily and Billy. Is it possible that he could've helped Lily rescue Billy after you leave?

Why?

Well, you and the principal are the only ones that figure out the code. Also, the
Principal came in at just the right time to get killed by the creature, who would've probably killed Lily otherwise. With nobody else there, big chance the character that releases Billy/Billy will die.

Even if the person who goes down there figures out the code or knows it, they will die.

In conclusion, you and Nugget are most likely the only ones that will make it.

*I suppose the Lunch lady and/or the Counselor die inside the school/aren't important enough to make it. The lunch lady has a chance, but the counselor? C'mon, she's mentioned once in the story.

To both of you: How would you feel about a still-mutated Billy surviving? Perhaps mutated so far as to become viable while mutated?

I think there's potential in that, and for it, too.

Yeah, and also, since the principal gave Nugget lotsa pills, maybe he went back just to see if there will pills left, and stumbled upon Lily by mere chance.

Oh, and as for the code, Nugget can canonically read a little, and with a ton of time, we might get to PLAY Billy's rescue in Kindergarten 2, and help Nugget learn to read as well as Billy and Monty can read.

Anyone here there might be potential in helping teach Nugget reading as a mission?
