Other games with similar kingdom management?

Hey there!
Played a bunch of this game and hoping you guys might be able to help me find something similar in terms of how the kingdom management works. My girlfriend and I really like it when games handle kingdoms kind of like this, where you can upgrade things and all that without having to worry too much about stuff like logistics like NNK2 or most Assassin's Creed games. Problem is that I either don't know the right tags to search with or they just don't exist. Anyone have any suggestions on that front?

Suikoden II, but your kingdom will only "upgrade" in three specific conditions:

1: How many characters you have recruited so far
2: If the recruited character serves some sort of service in your kingdom (example, The character who cooks will allow your kingdom to have a chinese restaurant. The character who has a boat and has a hobby for fishing wil add a dock to your home base)
3: Story specific character recruitment will add some nice touches to your kingdom, like the laundry area, shops, teleporter, etc.

Eiyuden Chronicles: Hundred Heroes. You upgrade very similar to this game, can recruit 100 different heroes, etc. very epic game.

All of the Suikodens are like what was said above. Suikoden 3-4 are my personal favorites.
