Do you need DLC achievements to get One True King (platinum) achievement?

I have 50 of the base game achievements and the 2 that came with the adventure pack dlc. I have no other dlc. Haven't gotten the one true king. Am I locked out of it for not buying the dlc?

no need to get the DLC for the one true king....just unlock the remaining achivement except the following DLC achivement "magic master","Higgely hotshot","ding dong done","Tech it to the max",solosseum supremo" ,"ruiners of wreath","how long can you go" and "the nightmare is over"

I don't understand what you mean. I have all the base game achievements and the 2 adventure pack dlc achievements. I can't get any of other dlc achievements since I don't own the dlc. I 100% completed everything of what I own but I think I can't get the one true king trophy now

unless you dont have the paid DLC(season pass) yet simply get the remaining base game achivement except the DLC achivement to get the one true king w/o being getting 63/63 steam achivement...instead 54/63 achivement....if you got 53/63 i bet the game was patched and now requires the season pass to get the remaining achivement....for DLC achivement there are 9 of them.

It is impossible to achieve that way. You must achieve all of the Steam achievements to receive this achievement. The same goes for dlc's achievements. All dlc achievements must be unlocked to unlock.

I also unlocked all achievements in the basic game first. However, I remember that One True King was not unlocked.

'One True King' was mentioned every time dlc was released. New dlc achievements were also needed each time.
