Special Swords Set for Pre-order
One question, the special Swords Set for Pre-order is include in the Special Edition (Equipment Package) or not?

You're both right about subject. For any DLC to be only available to pre-order or other incentives, it's standard to put word "exclusive" in the description to lure potential customers so that they'll know it's off limits after release.

It is safe to assume that DLC would be available either in-game or as Steam DLC after release because it has "no" exclusivity word and "has" free word versus being paid indicating such. If it was a Indie game, you could have suspected they don't know what they wrote to description. But we're talking about Bandai Namco here. Look at their past releases, you'll see.

Unless I'm understanding the annoucement wrongly. As long as you pre-order, regardless special edition or not, you will get the special swords.

Prince's Edition comes with the additional Season Pass.

If you pre-order both versions come with the five-piece sword set which includes: Jade Katana, Siren’s Sabre, Cloudcutter, The Bleeding Edge, and Greenling Glaive. In addition to that, the Prince's Edition comes with a season pass for two future DLCs, which they've promised adds hours of gameplay, as well as an additional sword called the "Cat King's Claw", and an equipment package including some in-game items to help on your adventure. The 'Special Sword Set' and the 'Equipment Package' are two separate things. No news yet if any of these pre-order and exclusive downloads will be available for download down the line, but I'm hoping so, since only the King's and Collectors editions seem to have the Dragon's Tooth weapon DLC. I'd really like to grab that along with the rest of the equipment if possible, but as mentioned, no news as of yet. My guess is that the equipment package will include a bunch of usable items for early game, though I have read somewhere of some sort of a ring, but haven't been able to find official confirmation, so take that with a grain of salt.
The thing is the image on the store say For Free underlined. It make it looks like it will be available later but not for free. I really wish they could say something about it.

Well yeah. It's free if you pre-order. Post- release it will be a paid DLC. A pre-order bonus. Pretty standard.

No it's not pretty standard. Some games give you DLC for pre ordering them or backing them in kickstarter and they arn't buyable after release.

That's also a possibility, though more often than not a case with crowdfunding platforms as you mentioned, since you're really investing in an unfinished product.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Well i bought it even tho i'm still far from done with FFXV.
I still think they made a mistake to release it so close to FFXV ( on PC ) but for once that we share the same release date than console players i'm not going to argue. I'm just afraid it will impact the sales
