Have you ever done a randomly generated puzzle? Would you like for them to be unsolvable?
You have to choose how to use your orbs.
There are random NPC in a maze. Can you say that it is wrong? I never saw a merchant.
WHY THE ♥♥♥♥ ARE THERE NO CHECKPOINTS
I just lost a Prism Spear on the very first crash I had with this game in ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 70+ hours. I needed that god ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ damn thing to finish that one stupid recruitment quest and I do not have the other two that you get from other quests anymore. I already had spent hours trying to get this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing to drop and when it finally did in one of these dungeons I get a crash, WTF? I am so mad right now.
Now that I have done all research tasks I can also confirm that there is no way to actually craft the Prism Spear. I was under the misconception that the final research tasks that are unlocked would make that available but they don't.
Also as a side note, I thought about leaving the dungeon at first. But I also wanted to get it done because apart from the spear and the dream fragment there was nothing of interest in there. And since I did not encounter a single crash in over 70 hours of gametime, I risked it and of course that was when the very first crash had to happen. That's some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ luck right there. Now add to that the fact that the quest the spear is needed for is called "The Goddess of Good Luck" and have a hearty chuckle at the irony.
The good stuff only appears on the deepest levels with a good frequency. So you spend like 20 minutes getting there everytime. Of course neither is there a way to jump to the good levels, nor are there checkpoints.
Yes yes, "endurance test". More like boring as hell until you get to the good stuff.
So you get to floor 29, then BOOM crash. And you lose not only close to one hour of grindy gametime but also your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ NERVES.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
This could be so much better if it were for just a few QoL improvements.
So either the developer is stupid or incapable of designing it better.
Or is deliberately trolling the audience.
