Good story: No.
Good gameplay: Meh~
No spoilers.
The story is way too childish, It starts kinda cool but after a few hours, you notice that the general flow of the story is different. Like they forgive literally everyone and try to be a friend with them. No grudge no hatred just happy emotions and a few courage words.
When I had returned from a stressful day of college and played the game to just chill out I somewhat satisfied. You can play it without thinking too much, the story is easy to remember. But definitely I can say if you play it more than 3 hours on the same day you regret it.
Is Wrath of the Witch better?
game.
The boredom started after 20 hours for me. Same thing in every kingdom.Understand the situation, fight and forgive. It felt repetitive to me. I had to do a few side quests and play the kingdom management thing in order to get rid of the repetitive feel it left. But as you know different peoples different game tastes. I am glad that people are enjoying these types of games.

Story and lore really are kind of meh and childish, but the gameplay itself (if you dont overlevel) is fun.
(btw, I was playing at higher resolution and recorded at lower, reason why the screen is cut, game have more screen than that and it is not bugged either).
Revenant Kingdom tries to have story, but the different parts feel disconnected and lack depth. That being said, there are more mechanics in Revenant Kingdom with different flavors that are interesting. Combat in the second game is simpler - the only reason why I switched higgledies at all was due to a quest. But since the events of the first game is the ancient history for the second, I enjoyed seeing what remnants of the first game were in the second (not much, but they're there if you know what to look for).
You never stated your specs nor if they even are at minimum required, if game was really that broken from the technical standpoint it would not have reviews it has now. Also, who removes games from their account? lol
