If you were playing on Expert, you'd be in the 80s once you hit the end of the game. Enemies in the labyrinth are around the mid 80s until you get further down near the end. I will say that the XP gain in the labyrinth is pretty substantial.
Can you just not intiate the DLC or are you fearing getting one shot? Because if you can, just go down there, try to kill some enemies for the XP and leave on the first floor. Save and repeat That's pretty much what I did for a while in the Far Away Isle's Dreamer door.
This feels like a waste of time to be honest. There are over 2000 Games in my library waiting to be played instead of doing a labyrinth with 100 floors over and over just to level up. You know what I mean?
I was level 7x when I entered Labyrinth. By the time I hit Floor 100 I was level 111. Beat final boss at that level. No real need to grind that much.
The Labyrinth DLC also unlocks a much better dodge system as well. And various other skills.
"won't do every citizen." You only need 2 more. Da fk?
To each their own I suppose.
To be fair, I would have preferred something other than a 100 floor Labyrinth as well so...
Level 72 to be precise with 98 Citizens.
Still I'm underleveled for the requirements of this DLC and I wont do it multiple Times just to beat the Endboss of the DLC.
No way. There are better Games out there.
Its just funny that you finish the main story + a few side content and are level 50 and dlc requires level 99.
The first major dlc which is the prince of wraiths 100floor labyrinth, helps a lot on that part.
The first level has monsters at level 36 which means that if you clear this out,you will beat the other dlc you mention pretty easily. And of course you dont have to do all the floors at one sitting, there are portals at level 21,41,61 and 81 for you to take a break.
Also i am guessing that you missed out many Tainted monsters which also give quite a lot of exp and of course Dream doors.
Last but not least you can always farm the last boss for easy level up

Yes ni no kuni 2 has many flaws but level up isnt one of them,so do your research first before giving a negative review for a game just because you dont search at all.
So yes you indeed skipped a lot of content to go straight for the dlc like the other person said.
Thats your fault,not the game.
You didnt even bother finishing the damn game but you used cheats to clear the late game dlc and level 40dream door in just 6 hours....
I appreciate your honest words. I guess I'll give it another go. Thanks for that! :)
If you want to do some more achievements in the game, here is a guide with all of them except the dlc ones
