How the ♥♥♥♥ do I beat King Mausinger for this quest? I'm level 82, well above the quest's recommended level, AND I'm playing on Normal, and yet I keep getting Shrekt by him. I hate the bullet hell section of the fight too, so difficult to dodge. :( Maybe I'm just a casual scrub but I need advice, please!

He always uses the same 2 to 3 moves after eachother. Attack him for about 3 to 4 times till he teleports and then you just roll away and repeat. For the fireballs, I just stood in the back on the right and nothing even hits me. Everything either hit the ground before me or I could just roll past it.

Thanks for the tips. Honestly I forgot how to dodge.:subaruchill: But I'm sure I'll remember eventually, lol.. Do the levels of my party members matter much for this fight? I was able to beat the pig boss in Faraway Forest Dream Door 10 pretty easily even though he was like 13 levels higher than my party members.

Honestly even if you are level 100, at most you can get 2 shotted. His damage is absurd even for the higher levels. Ofcourse you can always eat some food for the buffs but who does that for a rat.

And Faraway forest at floor level 31+ at danger level 5 most monsters are 125-135 so anything is far above you and it is still doable, just gotta be very strategic in who to take out first and what position you should take.

Also, use Glabe the Gowering. His skill creates a temporary field that nullifies all fire attacks. So when Mausinger is inside, beat the sh*t out of him.

What they said. Use higgledies that nullify fire and higgledies with "Me Too, Me Too" (they will copy it). That's not what I did, though -- I used hit and run tactics (if you keep trying you'll learn his pattern; go in, hit him 2-3 times, then run off before he can hit you) and when he does the thing where he forcefields himself, just focus on dodging the fireballs and let the AI take care of it because I still don't know what makes him stop doing it.

Yeah that was a tough fight, using fully leveled higgledies that provided a sphere of invulnerability, he litterally cannot damage you while you are inside it. I also use a butt load of healing and resurrection items.

You know, I probaly should't use the term butt load now I think about it. You probably really wouldn't fit that much up there!
Finally beat him but oh my sweet baby Jesus on a pogo stick, the next boss is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. She summons her ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ minions endlessly and basically destroys my party members in one or two hits each. What ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ brainlet designed her??
