Best Higgledy Teams
I'm curious what kind of Higgledy line-up people are using and why?

ie)

Name: Tove the Tenebreus
Type: Purple
Personality: Outgoing
Favorite Skill: Night Smiter

OR

Just list the 4 you use and why.

I'm intrigued by this too, and whether theres any synergy between different higgledy groups. There seems very little info online about this.

I haven't spent enough time experminenting with them, but from what I understand certain personalities synergize well. Also I noticed, after leveling my purple one a bit, its gravity ball sometimes hits for over 2600; but I have no idea if it's from enemy weakness, group synergy, higher level, etc.

I've noticed that higgledy icon under spells, any further info on how they impact magic?

dunno if the Higgledy names of the ger version are the same but after some testing, i found a very strong combo for single trarget burst dmg.
Leon, Samzo, Poppi and Jeannuff.

Its all about the ability from Leon and Samzo.
The skilldmg get buffed with the passive from Samzo and Jeannuff.
With this, Samzo does about 3x 5k dmg on a lvl 70 dragon and Leon 3x 7k....when Poppi does his mimic (and it has a very high chance), it is again 3x 7k dmg.

So with some luck, Leon + Poppi does about 40k burst dmg which is more than half of the dragons hp bar...

Oh, Jeannuff and Poppi have both heal and a physical/magic dmg + knockdown buff for the group kek

I'm using whatever the first 4 I found was. Sorry that this adds nothing of value to the conversation.

I'm really liking Bawbee and Dirge right now, but I don't even have 1/3 of them yet.

There is an achievement for having a matching set of higgles right? And there is a theme in design.

flight goggles
Cape
Tribal mask
Screw like object in side of head
et cetra

I'd imagine if you set 4 higgles with the same theme they might get a boost.

There is no achievement for having a set of higgles. The game does mention though that higgles have different personalities like 'shy' and to consider balancing it with an 'outgoing' one. My assumption is because some higgles take longer than other to gather together to allow you to use them and a shy might take longer than an outgoing. Granted, I haven't exactly tested gathering rate of higgles, but I do know that there is higgle traits that cause them to gather faster or not break up if they get hit by an enemy.

Higher level magic requires more higgles of that element to be used. Fireball has x4 fire higgle and a higher level fire magic requires x8 fire higgle.

You're right. I should of checked, I was going off of memory and I must of missed unlocking it whenever I did, but I don't think it's for matching items on their head, but elements.

maybe, but there could also be no real boost to having them all match anyays.

I honestly have played the entire game only using the first one we get >.> maybe I should do something about that.

I just tested, it for Matching their head gear, not the color. and it popped up big time, BIg words across the whole screen, and the little notification pop up from steam.

i don't know if there is a boost or not, but all that flare for no boost would be odd, If you swap higgles and then go back into menu and set the matching set again, the words flash across the screen again, so there is something to it.

EDIT: there is a boost, it pops up at the bottom. I set all the ones with natureal horns and it gave me Noble savages, The 4 team up nad have their feistiness increased.

Post-end I like using the ones that transform into a temporary ally.
They deal nice damage and provide enemy distraction, which is great vs the additional tainted monsters and the final dream door boss.

The rest of the early / mid-game you just wanna stack up offensive spells higgledies, since the battles are rather short. (even the boss ones)
