Using higgledies

How do you use them to enhance skills. It says hold the button, doesn't do anything. I know I have enough, or it says I have enough. Doesn't work while awakened either.

I think they use most of their abilities themselves according to the situation (mob's elemental affinities, attack types etc). The third ability is the one you use yourself by entering the cirlce when it's ignited and pressing a trigger button. And the last ability only works (passively) when you are awakened by eating Lofty's ball. Correct me if I'm wrong anywhere with it, cause don't get higgledies entirely myself.

Under the tutorial for higgledies it says on the third page "Certain other higgledies will allow you to absorb them by holding down the button for your characters' spells and abilities, thereby changing and improving their effects."

Oh you mean when you hold down and charge and they jump ontop of you?

Ya i guess, I haven't been able to get them to do that.

I got my copy on the ps4 and I just hold the charge down but if you get hit you can easily get interrupted and they all jump out again lol

Ya i cant even get them to start, maybe im just not far enough in the game.

Might have to do some main story quests and build that building to research stuff for them in the city part of the game
