Streaming through a steam link?
Interested in the game, does it support steam link streaming? I'm interested in the game and to see if i could stream it to my steam link box on my tv and plug my xbox one controller to the box.

im not sure if this question is related to the games themself...

Nope, not working. The game doesn't have full controller support, well, the devs didn't enable it :/

So when using the steam link, the controller isn't responding.

I'm using steam link with an Xbox controller without any problems at all.

Ah crap! How?! I have to use a mouse to start the game and when I'm in the game I can't move the character :(

I had the same issue at first. Before you begin streaming, go to the steam link settings and there's a menu for controller settings. I had to set my controller up. I never had issues with games before this one. After I did that, it worked flawlessly.

Can confirm it does indeed work. Any game can work with Steam Link :D This one is fantastic on a huge tv hehe

Does the xbox one for PC controller work with steam link? The one with the dongle? I have never been able to get my wired 360 controller to work in any game.

I haven't been able to get my Xbox one pc controller with the dongle to work with steam link. It works when the controller is plugged in via USB cable. I purchased an Xbox one s controller and connected it via Bluetooth.

What about wired 360 controller? It sort of works but the buttons are all screwed up. The config shows the left stick is movement but it ust moves menu cursors. And the other buttons are all wrong too.

Thanks! This seems to have worked for me. Hopefully the fix sticks :)

This solution simply isn't descriptive enough to solve the problem. Community needs someone to post exact settings for how Steam's controller settings are configured, as well as each controller setting screen in Big Picture.

I posted screenshots on imgur[imgur.com].

In nutshell
1. Pair your controller to your Steam Link. (no screenshot)
2. Go to Big Picture->Settings->Controller Settings. Enable Generic Gamepad Configuration Support (screenshot 1)
3. Still in Big Picture, Library->Ni No Kuni 2->Manage Game->Controller Options (screenshot 2)
4. In Controller Options->Use Steam Configuration for Non-Steam Controllers->Global Setting (GenericNone). (screenshot 3)
5. Big Picture, Library->Ni No Kuni 2->Manage Game->Controller Configuration should show "Official Configuration for Ni No Kuni II..."

Hope that helps.
