This needs a fix ASAP.
That amounts to user error as it seems there is an issue with your setup and not the game. I have 2 monitors connected here and i play while watching movies without any issues. With fps around 100 @1620p FYI.
The fact that people change the cpu priority to fix "issues" shows me that most here are unaware of the basics for gaming on pc. Like disabling windows performance throttle and other stuff.
I7 4790K)
GTX 980Ti
16gb RAM
SSD + HDD
1080p 144hz (DP) + 1080p 60Hz (VGA)
Drivers up to date.
And no problems at all. The game is running me at 120 - 160 fps with no drops at all, no problems with sound and no stuttering. Maybe is an incompatibility with some CPUs o maybe not optimized for 1440p?
Couldn't that cause your computer to blue screen?
these were stutters at like 80% gpu usage btw
Ah ok, guess it depends how hot your computer gets, i've heard you can run 100% gpu just as long as your heat is ok
That does NOT amount to user error. If that were the case, I would have this kind of problem all the time while gaming. As of today, no other game has ever given me this kind of issue, and I've been playing with dual monitor since 2008.
#1 I totally believe you. #2 PC gaming is a fickle thing, one thing working in one game can cause issues in another. Like an perceived "stable" overclock for example or driver level forced anti aliasing.
I don't have issues with 2 monitors connected so it seems the problem is YOUR setup and not the game.
Which makes it what? Exactly, user error.
That's called bottlenecking.
When a CPU's reaches 100% usage it causes the GPU to slowdown because the GPU is waiting for the CPU to catch up.
I keep seeing this happen with my 6600k in recent titles and it's really irritating. Couldn't play Final Fantasy XV because of it either.
