I mean you play this game and your curious so you search every corner of the maps and constantly find hidden passages and areas that you cant really access.
Like you discover the spell for the rotating plants and remember there was one in the beginning of the area, so you walk back the entire way of this dungeon just to find an area with insanely overleveld enemys and you have absolutely no chance of beating them since whatever you do regardless of tactic device and buffs you just do 1 dmg to them. So you write that down to remember and go abck there when you are lvl 20, you clear the area only to discover that again you need another thing to continue and after playing this game I know you will travel back there jsut to find an angels tear in a chest.
Same goes for the blue chests, like how stupid it is to go around the ENTIRE map once more after you´ve already cleared all of that just to unlock some blue chests.
I feel like this game is giving you additional lategame content in a way that you have to revisit all the areas you have already been.
PS: I bet this detective guy is the lazy jerk here. Didnt look around for anything so btw the game gave him a natural encounter the progression already gives you the tools to acces
