Save file deleted.

Anyone know of any glitch that causes save files to disappear and how to fix? I really don't want to play another 15 hours from the beginning.

that's odd, maybe had something to do with piracy.. seeing as you don't own the game.. hard to ask for support on a product you've pirated.. If you had steam cloud access your save would have been protected.. but since you don't.. you're SOL..

Yeah I plan on buying it when I get paid. Btw I figured it out. For future reference if anyone ends up with this, the save file wasnt actually deleted, just not getting detected. So start a new game and just steamroll through until the first save shrine, save it and then go into where the save files are located and just replace the new save data with the old one and it'll detect it again. MAKE SURE YOU COPY THE OLD SAVE FILE FIRST OR IT WILL OVERWRITE IT.

meh it's ok, just don't like when pirates try to quell their own morals using excuses, just be honest, you're stealing the game because you want to steal the game.. you have no intention of buying it, and just want to get free stuff.. You would atleast come across as someone being honest with themselves..

he doesn't own it, he already said he plays on the PC.. only way to play on the PC is steam or piracy..

I will say not everyone pirates to steal the game though. My cousin pirated darksouls before he bought it. (I told him id let him test it on my pc)
