What is the bar filling skill of citizens?

Its like that, there is some filling bar on some citiens, like "prospector eye", "million nose", etc, and when put those people to work this bars fills, but what that means?

When the bar fills all the way up you can then upgarde whatever you have assigned them to

It is just citizen lvl. It doesn't matter where they work and they will gain exp when working. Keep an eye on it and lvl them up when you can - some later research require certain citizens to be on Master lvl.

But there is different bars, one is xp filling bar, and another only apear on gathering, that bar with icon of gathering that makes me confuse.

When the gathering "bar" fills up, they produce 1 random resouce from the place they are assigned to.

I am not sure but i think the way it works is that producing buildings, mines, lumber mills, farms, etc. They will produce goods even if no citizens are stationed. Stationing a citizen with the appropiate gathering skill will as mentioned earlier fill up and award a random resource from the structure as well as boost the gathering rate of the structure itself.

As I understand it, levelling up citizens increases their IQ, which allows them to research higher level topics.
