The most logical choice is Tani because she it the only human female close to his own age that is part of the main story. Ferdinand (Evan's son) has more human blood than grimalkin because he loses the cat ears and tail.

Yea, but at the same time Evan's mother has blue hair tho. Probably Evan wife is an unkown human female.

You do realize that in anime style games, hair color does not matter at all to who the parent is.

Probably Tani. One of the outfits for Tani is a "Queen" set.

Tani for sure - even official trailer says she’ll become soulmate. We can see some funny moments between Tani and Evan in main game but major development I’m guessing will happen in DLC hopefully even real wedding as probably DLC will take place after Evan becomes King. Check this one topic out: me and NiamhNyx already had discussion including strong points why it was left out not for main story but future 2 DLC (especially our last 5 comments) as only in this case story will be complete http://steamcommunity.com/app/589360/discussions/0/1696043263492579972/

I know there's already an answer chosen by the author here but I'm gonna call dibs on Speio as the answer, I mean 1. she's around the same age as Evan, 2. she's got blue hair... so my theory is that the race is what doesn't matter in this world and a mutation can happen between any of the humanoid's child causing them to have a child with a different humanoid race of the parents or just plain human, which could happen to be the case here.

Now what made me think this the most is 3. her power relating to dreams, where she can speak to someone or see someone in her dreams, I think IIRC she could see someone's future in her dreams in her last sidequest but I'm not sure about that one. Anyway, I think that Ferdinand inherits this power or maybe just a bit of it, OR she uses it so he can speak with Evan in his dreams combined with Ferdinand's own power to travel through time, allows them to communicate that way.

Oh, and to the person who said hair color doesn't matter in anime, I just noticed that NnK1's protagonist have same hair color as her mother while Tani's hair color doesn't sway too far from Batu's hair color palette.

But that's just a theory... a Game Theory! Sorry, I just always wanted to say that.

Thing is, yes, they have similar hair colors, but thats not a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ determining factor in parents in terms of the anime style.
Also if you how genes work, two blonds can have a black haired child.

I agree with you there, but I don't know... Speio's dream power made me go "Hmm... that sounds familiar, kinda like a certain somebody" since she was first introduced in the game lol

This is an interesting theory indeed but there is one problem - Speio does’t play as major role in main game as Tani. It’s Tani who is following Evan from very beginning till the end. It’s Tani who’s standing together with Roland next to Evan in almost every official art and diorama (check collector’s edition unboxing). There are already too much hints given in main game that it’s going to be Tani that they can’t change it now. Also Ferdinand’s eye colour is the same as Tani...

On a side note, did you know that Batu is not real Tani’s father? Also this makes me think that we’ll find out about Tani’s mother in DLC and I wouldn’t be surprised if her hair colour is blue :) Or maybe her real father’s. To be completely honest we don’t even know what hair colour Evan’s mother got....

Also Tani even has Queen postgame outfit...It’s a very clever way to provide a hint of what to expect in DLC.

And finally, a lot might happen in DLC so possibly Evan or Tani might get the same ability as Ferdinand and it will explain how Ferdinand got his power.

Also, Spieo does not have dream powers, its more of a "I interperete important dreams and get messages from a deity" thing. Like an oracle or something.

And this is exactly what I said in my comment above :)) Developers are very opened about who is Evan’s wife if you read hints properly.
