weird issues (automatic skipping of cutscenes and ceaseless menu)

hey to all,

i am trying to play the game however some weird issues are in motion: whenever i am in the menu and try to choose new game, cursor doesn't stand still and it moves from down to up constantly (i am not sure if i was able to describe it)

second problem is: although i don't touch anything game keeps skipping cutscenes (as if i was keep pressing the f button).

anybody knows why? it's way frustrating!!

My best guess would be that you have some controller / joystick / steering wheel connected that triggers some input. If so, unplug all controllers you don't use with the game.

I'm having this exact same issue. I switched to a ps4 controller and it fixed the cursor issue where it's continuously scrolling but it's still skipping every cutscene. It's as if i'm holding down the button to skip and i'm not. Have you found a solution yet?

Solved it. Find the option to "verify integrity of game files" in steam and you should be good to go. Hope that works for you.

I haven't been able to fix it exactly. I already tried to unplug the controller and verify the integrity of game files but no chances. But somehow it stops on its own and I can continue with the game. Still very weird though.

disable virtual controller (game pad or whatsoever) and try again.
