Can I safely sell weapons/items I dont use? Or do I need them for salvaging later?
Is there even crafting in the game? I'm only just started at my kingdom and havent come acros salvaging or anything,so I was wondering if its safe to sell my old unused weapons!

You need some weapons/armor for side quest, can't remember specific ones. For sure don't sell any boots with 'smelly' or 'stinky' prefix, it is painfull to get them for end game quest.

Most of the wepons you have, you can easily remake at your wepons shop. Some might have specal names and be needed for quests. I sugjest you look at the names of all the wepons you can make, and if you have them in your inventory, go ahead and sell them. That's what I do.

You can hold up to 300 in each tab. If you keep 1 of each weapon type you should be fine. Sometimes they are used for sidequests, or the token exchange.

As Gart said: If you watch for stinky or smelly boots and keep those, there should be nothing that you can't craft when its required in a sidequest once your kingdom progresses ^^

I don't think I've used the weapon/armour crafting for myself, only for side quests. Why should I, when weapons gained from enemies are significantly stronger?

Ya, as others have said, if you run across some boots with "smelly" or "stinky" prefix, save them for a quest much later on.

A fair amount of quests want you to get specific weapons and armor, but you can end up crafting them on demand at your weapon/armor shops in Evermore.

What stage of the game are you in? I'm kinda like 50/50 split on found weapons and weapons I've crafted. With armor there is no contest however—almost all my armor is crafted.

It really depends how you play the game. If you push ahead and kill everything in your path, including all tainted mobs and doing the mazes according to their level, you'll probably have plenty of drops to choose from.

It was the same for me, i didn't craft any weapon/armor other for quests until i hit the 10th maze, and even now im having those only to kill the mobs quicker and get those purple weapons drop faster ^^

I guess I can see that. I enjoy the kingdom building stuff so I rushed building everything and thus could craft all the latest and greatest stuff right away.

Just got the Zippelin and went around completing side quests, killing tainted monsters, recruiting as much citizens as possible, get all available Higgles from the stones and cookery, building facilities and researching as much as possible.

All of my equipment are drops from monsters, which are significantly better than any of the (currently) possible crafting recipes.

For much of the midgame I was mostly doing good with stuff I found in chests or off monsters. Seems that it shifted more towards crafting as I got into the endgame more.

Don't bother selling equipment. You'll be able to use a lot of it, and money isn't terribly valuable. Late game if you need cash you can just sell excess materials. Early game you won't need money unless you're hacking to increase the difficulty (which, admittedly, everyone should do).

Don't sell shoes is enough for a sidequest which need "smelly" or "stinky" prefix.
Items can be used for crafting items, cooking and upgrades etc.

Making some of the weapons will unlock some of the side quests. For instance; if you make a frying pan, it unlocks a quest to make an even better one.

But how will you keep a weapon of every type if that ever you sell them, will you sell them all at once? (there is no way to choose a specific quantity to sell)

I would do as many side quests as you can especially in your castle building area then after you think you've done those completely then sell them yeah, usually the side quests for the castle lead up to recruiting the npcs or getting some extra KG and stuff.
