But no, no romance....
We are talking about light romance in a form of light crush and blushing.
Looks at this collector's Edition: https://www.facebook.com/ninokunigameeurope/photos/a.1728640260520593.1073741829.1583863228331631/1824032530981365/?type=3&theater
Tani is everywhere...On almost every single art right next to Evan and even on a one-of-a-kind 20cm high musical diorama. I don't thinks it's just a coincidence....
Eh? We are not talking about kisses or something more. But kids have their first crush at age of 10-11 years old and even earlier :) There's nothing wrong about it. You see it in movies, you read about it in books and you see it in real life. So technically it's possible and appropriate to have it in game though I don't think it's necessary.
One of the main characters and party members you literally get at the start is a 40 year old president from our reality (Earth), and you can still have innocent (or not innocent) love between kids, it's not at all that uncommon. Persona games have it (as well as suggested sex) and they're all 14-16 year old high school students, including the character that's supposed to be YOU (and not a premade).
But this game feels a bit more towards a journey, from childhood to learning how to take up responsibility etc. (Well as a king there might be responsibility on THAT part, but I don't think it's super urgent when one is like, super young and there's that matter with needing to grab the kingdom back)...
But yeah, I just feel like romance just didn't fit in this. Not really at least.
Although if they manage to fit it in and it's good then... whyever not, I just hope that it'll not be the focus though, or at least something like 3+ years in the future timeskip, at least.
I think this trailer has certain hints of what to expect and the fact that Tani is everywhere (in the collector's edition) makes me think it's all done for a reason. Anyway, soon all the questions will be answered :)
Well, when it comes to romance, i personally don't mean sex or anything like that, but when you have someone you love, you tend to fight more harder to survive and stuff like that.
There are loads of causes worth dying for, but is there anything worth living for? you know what i mean?
It looks like there might be romance after all, but it probably and hopefully won't be the focus of the game, unless the story has a plot twist, where the love interest gets captured and you gotta save them and stuff, but otherwise, it should never be the focus of an entire game like this.
