You can skip Ni No Kuni 1 since Ni No Kuni 2 isn't tide to it but still a great game and you will enjoy it more since studio ghibli helped make it but also you will see why sooo many people love it.
Great choice I know you will enjoy it
Witch one? But no problem mate :) I played and finished Ni No Kuni 1 and so the only bad part about it is the controls since you gotta micromanage characters and attack and block with the d-pad by turning the command options and moving your MC with joystick but if you can look pas that you will find a wonderful Gem and you will see why it's beloved by JRPG lovers and the music is just lovely aswell if you wanna listen to it OST on YouTube you will get a sense of the game tone
FF15's gameplay and story are both terribly bad, i'd reccomend almost any other rpg over ff15 easly without having to think twice about it. I don't think this game is worth 80 though, far from it.
5 hours of FF VII has a lot more content than FFXV.
FFXV despite having a big open world fails to deliver actual meaningful content inside it on top of their horrible and boring combat.
FF15 was a'right but seemed kinda short. Woulda been more fun if there was more story to the game after he wakes up 15 years later. Plus lots of driving in that car....
So ya, this and the new Dragon Warrior game are must-haves for me.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for exemple i have 300+ played hours in it and still have some ♥♥♥♥ left to do, i believe NNK2 will be more paired with Xenoblade Chronicles 2 which is more exploration and collectible focused, that will pack a few hundred hours of gameplay to it.
When i left for chapter 9 on FFXV, which is where the game becomes linear pretty much and its a line to the end, i was 40 hours into the game, lvl 78 and had done all optional quests available to me, then when insomnia i went back, done the new ones that opened and that granted me maybe 2 hours of extra content...
If you are looking for a bang for your buck, NNK2 will give you A LOT more of gameplay hours per dollar spent.
The battle system isn't too bad, it's easy as heck when you are overleveled yes, but hunt quests still hurts a lot, especially those higher levels ( o-o)
(Although I think in the end I'll still commend ni no kuni 2 more when I play it, but we'll see, I'm trying to finish ffxv before ni no kuni 2 hits :D)
Ni no Kuni 2 hasn't been out yet but I'm personally hyped for it.
If you choose XV I don't think you'll be disappointed, while Ni no Kuni 2 is rather risky to say anything absolute just yet.
