[SPOILERS] End Game Content+
So, I just finished the game and the rest of the DLC content... but... it's missing something.

So we know the backstory of the Horned One and a bit about Alisandra. But after all this, I wanted to know more, i indulge myself in species like these (can't tell from my avatar. ^^)

But I couldn't find anything other than what the game gave me and the wiki about her. And currently, her Cradle, if any, is unknown, as well as the location of her. I have an idea for a further backstory, but i'll have to play the game again and study it more to conceive something. To this end, there seems to be no connection except a few random references to the first game. If they decide to end the story plot here and start a new one with no continuation of this, I'll be severely disappointed. It may be because of resources or time, but i believe that seeing Alesandra in more than just flashback pictures would be great, but not everyone might agree with me here. In addition, I think I can concoct a way to feature her in more than just spirit.

Something tells me though that they don't plan to continue the story, and it's going to end with DLC pack 2 and the adventure mode.

My idea, and I will state this, is that the spirit world could be accessed through special means, and we can bring Doloran back to Alisandra, but instead of welcoming arms, he is greeted with fangs, telling him to go back before he's truly "lost". Try as he might, he can't get to Alisandra, and thus, you will have to calm her down or something before you can get a straight answer. Turns out, you've entered the world of the dead, and, kinda like when you enter the well of souls, you have a time limit before it completely claims your soul. Doloran decides its time to go, but it's not that easy, as time has already run out for all of you. You must figure out a way to escape the "Spirit World/Well of Souls" in a dungeon-like labyrinth.

I think that dungeon would be perfect for a final game content.

I don't think the story will not be referenced in ni no kuni 3 because probably the main protagonist will be Ferdinand.
Doloran kingmaker may not be completly lost if he can rebuild his kingdom like he is set up to do.
About the final dungeon at this point i would have been happy whith everyting except another dreamer maze.

I know this thread is old, but I just wanted to write to say that I think your suggestion is a neat idea. Level-5 is probably mostly done with Revenant Kingdom, but I think something like that would have been a cool way to cap off the game. I am definitely happy, though, that they gave Alisandra's character some nice detailing in Timeless Tome with the entire Memory Lane that was dedicated to her, and I think that was enough for most folks getting through the game. However, I don't think it was enough for hardcore lore junkies and fans of the whole Doloran & Alisandra relationship/plot concept (like me), of which it seems there are sadly few.

I will say if you mull over some of the minor NPC lines in Timeless Tome, you can glean a fair amount of extra info from them (for example, who knew that Alisandra likely killed/exiled/otherwise did something fairly dramatic to Doloran's immediate predecessor, possibly one of his parents, almost undoubtedly for a very, very good reason?), so go back and make sure you find and talk to EVERYONE in the relevant part of the DLC.

Edit: also, regarding some of the details you mentioned: her Cradle is in the space between spaces where the party fights the Horned One. It's one of the few structures in Allegoria that remained standing despite everything, including being sucked into another dimension. That dimension is arguably Alisandra's "interdimensional dimension thingy" (as Lofty calls it), her equivalent of the space where you've fought all the other kingmakers. Her Cradle and the chunk of Nazcaa it sits on are the only things left there after everything is said and done. . Alisandra's destination after the game is uncertain, but I think a case can be made for either A) the afterlife, or B) her Cradle. I think both are arguable, but the fact is that she's still around one way or another at the very end of the game, because Roland goes back home, and she's the only one capable of sending him there.
