Non riflemen wouldn't respawn with rifles so the advantage would only be temporary. And. I do think it would be a way of evening the playing field a little if a regular line infantryman can get his hands on a better rifle albeit temporarily. Maybe a better solution than reducing the effectiveness of the riflemen. I think my main point was that a battlefield would have rifles/muskets/swords scattered about and I would imagine soldiers woul often pick these up.
devs... please make their reload time longer already
If you pick up a weapon that you don't own... you only get one shot. If you pick up a musket (and you have a musket) you get two shots back to back, but toss away your first musket after firing for a greatly sped up second shot.
You should be unable to reload a second weapon.
I don't do events like that because they seem worthless to me. I'd much rather have fun playing a 'realistic' battle where the Line infantry are required to hold/push objectives and riflemen are the actual skirmishers... meaning it's rare that rifles would be used to take or hold objectives.
What can I say, I'm a fan of Sharpe!
Fixed for you... because I clarified the issue as if you pick up a musket you'd still have the same ammo if you have a musket (they are just balls...) , and the original guy said it'd be different ammo. So I agreed with him they should only get one shot, but for different reasons.
Nice try at trolling though I guess?
Quoting my post and editing my words and making it seem like I said that is trolling. Come on dude... so I trolled you back because you didn't see the difference.
