Who is the voice of Hajime in this demo?

Hajime sounds nothing like JYB in this demo. Who is it?

I wish I knew. I also wish I knew why they replaced JYB for him.

It does kinda sound like JYB, it's just he changed his pitch. I listened to the trial for the demo and there are parts of the trial where he sounds like the regular JYB

Honestly, I think it sounded like him at the start of the trial, but later on, it stopped sounding like him. And I don't see why he'd change his pitch like that.

Dude, English dub. JYB is an English voice actor.

A lot of voice actors were on strike for the last few months, so he probably was as well.

It could also be that this is Hajime/Izuru and not just plain old Hajime.

I doubt it. Pretty sure they got JYB for him in the anime too. Besides, this is very clearly supposed to be regular old Hajime.

Am I crazy, or did it change mid-demo? I didn't notice it at first, but pretty early during the trial I noticed something was off in a way that it wasn't before.

I don't know if JYB did Hajime's voice this time around, but according to his imdb page he did Rantaro's voice. That's about as much as I've been able to find

I think JYB is voicing both Hajime and Rantaro. My guess is that they told him to change his pitch for Hajime (who is less relevant this time around) so that the characters don't sound too similar.

I could actually see that being a legitimate reason. After all, Nagito and Makoto were never onscreen at the same time in DR2, and JYB is the only voice actor to voice two characters in the demo
