What do the monolith research papers mean?

The one you get from the high cultist who gives you a quest is pretty obvious. Activate all monoliths, open the gate. I just can't figure out the other two.

The first depicts a monolith surrounded by three squares with glowy-stripes around them, and one square without those stripes.

The second is a diagram of a square with a black square within and a teardrop with three points inside both pointing to a monolith, which points to a clear square with glowy-stripes.

I suppose the square with glowy-stripes represents a magical item, but I have no idea about the rest. There's nothing teardrop-shaped that I can think of. What are these supposed to represent?

The teadrop is a Strange Stone, and the black square is a cursed item, so if u want to uncurse it u go to the monolith and make an offering with the cursed item and the Strange stone so the item will be cursed no more. Hope it did help u.
