I've always believed that the reason people find the bosses in Dead Cells hard is because they barely have any chance to practice them (unless you do things like savescum before a boss room and reload it repeatedly for practice). Now with training mode, I firmly believe that the playerbase will be able to go through the game without fearing bosses, at least not as much as they used to.
Anyway, this is the kind of updates I like. Instead of rebalancing the game and things like malaise every other hour, you're actually working on actually useful stuff like quality-of-life features.
The new "Aspects" feature you're adding will also undoubtedly be far better for newer players in helping them practice and get through different boss cells without all the constant nerfing and buffing and rebalancing you've done for boss cells for years now.
Looks like a great content update on the whole.
Pls if i have won the last boss, let me practice it...
you can train against him its just hidden, see https://www.reddit.com/r/deadcells/comments/ozn0os/spoiler_boss_training_room_is_hidden_in_the/
Any mod that uses scripting to generate a custom level using main.hx causes a crash. This prevents anyone from using mods which create custom levels through scripting.
The crash log is displayed below and it is produced every time regardless of the contents of main.hx:
