Help farming gold golem BP

yea nothing seems to work for this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ root, stun, freeze everything i try he hits me before i can extract a BP and then i keep getting taken down to one hit in one hit. i been trying to get all the bank BPs and i'm sure that this is the last one but every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time he two taps me or i get a heal and it 3 taps me. its kinda stupid i'm on normal mode and it doesn't seem to matter if i get the bank early or later in the run we basically two tap each other except it doesn't need to stand there for an hour waiting for the extractor to work. any advice? i started a few days ago and only have basic mutations but i rushed the + weapon drops to 100% and am working on the ++ drop rates so i can farm cells if i need a specific item to hold the golem in place

It's been a while, but as I recall the Wolf Trap helped me in many cases with blueprint extraction. The Ice Armor can also help to absorb a hit.

I'll have to look up ice armor as I haven't found that yet but yea wolf trap is usually my go to but it can attack me from anywhere and has massive range. What do you think about ice shield? I have a BP that I can buy to try but I doubt that it'll freeze longer than the ice blast or ice nade

Oh actually this gives me an idea I never tried the purple shield yet. If I remember right things are stunned longer if counterd with it. I'd still like suggestions though if people have any

Don't know about the ice shield, I'm not a shield person. One more idea - the Swarm grenade can create some distraction.

i had that bp... i went to play dead cells on steam deck and my file wasn't loaded so i went on computer and it was fine and i loaded up steam deck and it showed the save then later when i went on steam deck i hit continue and it did not load the save then it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ auto saved over my actual save so i was forced to start over. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ steam deck. i guess you need to actually go into the save for it to remember it, i'm back to about where i was got still need to unlock the extractor again and im still down the 500+ cells i had into the + weapons but i'll reply back once i do it just to say what works but speaking onthe swarm thats a good idea i was thinking about doing the same with that blade turret actually

for anyone looking to use BP extractor on a golem this what ya do.

first find golem

next find a room with a long ladder and 3 floors that you can fall pass (two can work but harder)

then clear the room, start the fight, pick up the extractor and get the golem to 40% or lower hp

go on second floor so golem teleports there then jump on ladder above golem do small jump to the side and use extractor

facts: golem only has 2 attacks, a punch and a AOE attack that spawns at your location so if you are on a ladder above it it can't hit you so it will just sit there. golem also does this if you are in the air and you can use the BP extractor while falling so you can steal the BP while falling but before the golem dies it will teleport to the bottom floor and charge a punch but will die before it hits you. i did it twice to get the gold digger weapon and midus blood mutation. don't use freeze, root or stun it won't last long enough however the golem will target turrets if you are on a ladder with one out so you can use this to take a BP but you kinda need to be fast at it. swarm grenade is useless for this as golem can hit all 8 of them at once so they die way too fast. good luck and thanks @gbors for replying to this
