question on hunter's mirror, legendary forge and (?)

hey thanks in advance for reading my question...preface the question by saying i'm ~60 hours in, currently using the dead cells wiki and hunter's grenade to unlock a few more weapons/mutations before i give the game more attention on normal mode.

what's the point of the hunter's mirror...is this for people who don't go to the wiki to find which monsters drop what? (even) if this is the case; moreover, having a hunter's grenade equipped shows a bubble when near an enemy that has a blueprint for you, so...am i missing something or just overthinking/overcomplicating the mirror

i can't find info on unlocking the legendary forge, does this become available after hotk @ 1bsc+? (i haven't done 1bsc hotk, just norm)

in some people's videos i see 3-4 different tubes at the start of the run that drops 4-5 items that are S-tier, how do i unlock this?

any info on any of these 3 questions would be appreciated...thanks a lot!

Pretty much. If you have just a few items left you don't have to go through a long list to figure out which are missing, it just shows you the enemy you need so you can plan your route. If your goal is to unlock everything you don't need the wiki at all, since you can just work your way through every enemy the mirror shows and you won't miss anything. But yes, in general it is one of the less useful upgrades.

The normal forge is the small guy that allows you to reroll items. The legendary forge is the large guy after each boss fight where you can spend cells on permanent quality upgrades (the room before the collector with the giant anvil). Since it's tied to a person the wiki has it on the article of The Blacksmith. It should be unlocked on 0 BSC (maybe not on the very first run, but definitely on 0 BSC).

Come back once you've done 1 BSC HotK ;-) It's called "Recycling Tubes" if you want to look it up on the wiki.

okay, that answers everything...i do have the legendary forge, i'm half way through the 2nd (++?) upgrade.
