Best Route for Stats and Loot

Hello, I am sorta new as I just recently started to play again when 1.0 came out. I was wondering what the best route for stats and loot is with the newest update. I have seen a few guides to this but it seems that they might have changed with updates.

Ok, so I plotted out all of the routes and figured it out. The best route would be Prisoners Quarters (2 Scrolls) > Toxic sewers (4 Scrolls + 1 if you get door) > Ancient Sewers (4 Scrolls) > Insufferable Crypt > Grave Yard (5 Scrolls + 2 if you get door) > Forgotten Sepulcher(5 Scrolls + 2 if you get door) > Clock Room > High Peak Castle (3 Scrolols) > Throne Room.

This does not account for the ammount of chests (I wasnt able to find it on the wiki) or the scrolls dropped from mobs. If anyone has any information on those things please add me or respond with the stats here, or let me know if there is a better way of getting stats and loot.

Mob scrolls are included in what you wrote above, as both them and capsule scrolls share the same pool, but with random proportions(AFAIK depths always have their scroll in a mob).

I was unaware that there were fixed scroll spawns per level, I've been taking the basic path on Boss Cell 2 because it was easiest.
