How to ground pound

How do I ground pound if I have no abilities and am brand new to the game. I assume this is how you get under wooden floors right?

Jump attacks (what you call ground pounds) are performed by using Down + Jump in mid-air. This same combination is also used to drop down through platforms while you're standing on them (no, jump attacks do not break platforms, but they do break doors).

And sometimes stun (I say sometimes cause I've stunned enemies with ground pound but sometimes not and haven't tested it properly). It's lovely to use when there are flying enemies right under you that can be easily one shot and I use it almost always whenever initiating battles from heights. Don't rely on it too much tho, you don't want to end up between 2 shield bearing zombies cause they'll block that ♥♥♥♥ and kick your ass.
