What build should i do with this weapon

It's in a bit of an awkward place since it has a melee and a ranged component. And the ranged component also does not leave projectiles in it's enemies, so it's unable to benefit from barbed tips and ripper. It's dps even when taking advantage of it's crit condition is also quite subpar.

If you had to build around it, I'd focus on the melee part of it and use brutality, though if tactics, point blank is a mutation that works perfectly well. Though it's gun doesn't really do too much damage anyway and should mainly be used for marking.
