More mutations with boss cells
With an increase in activated Boss Cells number, I suggest increasing the maximum number of mutations. I think this is quite fair, without boss cells there still be same 3 mutations, but the more boss cells activated the more mutations can be received.

Not really needed. I already have a hard enough time picking which mutations are good enough to actually use. Adding a 4th one would just stack onto that.

3-4 activated boss cells, missing heal fountains. What do you take? Heal from food and curses mutations and something like a skill cooldown reduction. Then switch to suitable mutations for boss fight. Not great variety, do you agree? Therefore, I suggested more mutations for more activated boss cells.

considering how weak 90% of the mutations are in the game right now, it's literally a choice of picking the least crappy ones. cdr, alienation and yolo heart are about all you need to get thru 90% of the runs on 4 cell. The rest of them don't even bring enough to the table to be worth considering.

the only boss fight you need separate mutations for is the hand, and it's the last fight in the game. You simply just trade alienation for fast potions or whatever else you need if you have no potion charges left.

I saw that you spoke of a 4 boss cell. That on the ramparts it is necessary to have any items synergy, otherwise dealing damage will be small. Even if the remaining mutations are weak, they still give some advantage.

And do not forget that not all players are hardcore ones. A pile of topics with the difficulties of beating Incomplete One boss is proof of this. So even a small increase will be useful, not to mention the greater mutation combinations.

I honestly would rather the current ones to be reworked to be more interesting. The only one that is interesting is and actually changes the way you play is the extra damage in tactics if you got arrows stuck in a enemy on a melee attack. Since if you are going tactics your plan is to stay away.

That mutation is meant to be used by players that use both melee weapons AND bows, such as myself. Plus, it's even handier with infantry bow, as it's the one you're gonna be close to stuff with it.

Yes but it's the only mutation that will actually change your playstyle. Using two long range weapons or a shield and long range is just a way smarter approach. And none of other mutations will really change how you play at all other than that. Thus making them super boring. Brutality being the worst in that department.

I like this idea, I've thought this myself when I was doing some 2 and 3 cell runs.

either you don't play the alpha, or you're oblivious to how good brutality is next patch
