Corpse Worms Unacceptable
Maybe it's just me, but the corpse worms are INFURIATING now. I completely avoid trying to kill the host and having them staged randomly in fjord is just stupid. The biggest issue is that they home/teleport in on you. You can be completely swarmed and instantly die by no mistake of your own. They should be quick and easy to kill and should absoluetly NOT follow you the way they do. On top of it all, they are way too quick, cause way too much damage and are way too fast with their attacks; I can't even turn around and get a single swing or attack in before they bite me, which causes me to flinch, then get bitten repeatedly until death.

TL;DR Corpse Worms need massive downgrade/rebalance. They need to drop out of their sacks/zombie host, and one swipe should take them out and remove their homing ability! PLEASE!!

EDIT:
Perfect example of what the corpse worms SHOULD be - the small flood in halo. Sure, you breathe on them and they die, but if you don't crowd control, it gets out of hand. They should be SECONDARY enemies that are something to be AWARE of and take control of quickly. As of now, I just dread them and they are a massive chore.

I like the challenge, they were too easy and no challenge before. i even had a slow nutcracker weapon and beat the new ones easilly. Learn, adjust and adapt. Fog fjord was too easy beforehand.

They are pretty much button mashing territory. The only melee weapon that can't spam attack them as they come flying in is the broadsword but that thing is useless anyways.
Just start mashing attack when the host zombie dies and you're golden.

On a Survival build I beg to differ. I just continued slashing. Sure I took some hits but those were just scratches when looking at my HP pool.

I think it's funny that they want speedrunning in this game, and yet they keep bringing more and more enemies you can't run past.

I almost didn't agree with this saying that you can just speedrun past the host zombies, but now even the simple worms spawned by the eggs/pipes/whatever they are in the Fog Fjord still teleport. Well, I guess it's to make up for the lack of Phazers in Fog Fjord, but Old Sewers are also more difficult.

It doesn't make sense either, it just seems like a lazy way to make it more difficult. The enemies that did teleport previously like the Phazers seemed to have some sort of magic that made them teleport and they were all glowy, but... These are just worms that teleport for seemingly no reason other than to make it harder.

they were easy before - how they should be. they should be a nusance at best. At the same time, I think we should be able to run past them if we so choose. Maybe I am just ♥♥♥♥ at this game, but when i got more than 3, it takes all my concentration to get out of a cluster of enemies and use a skill or two. I completely died becuase one lunged at me, I timed the lunge, it missed, and I went into attack it and it immediately bit me and I died. They should be one hit kills.

Virtually any weapon I use now isn't fast enough. I was using the meat skewer and that just made things worse becuase when I appeared behind the one i was focused on, I was met but 3-4 other worms all immediately waiting to attack. Their attacks are quick and the opening to attack them is so tiny that if you have 2-3 worms, at least one of them will always be ready for the attack and then i get hit, flinch, hit, flinch, die.

Even if their strength and speed remained the same, their ability to TELEPORT is waayyy too overpowered and unnecessary for what they are/supposed to be. These are supposed to be spawn - a lesser enemy like the flood in halo. The flood die instnatly, but you let the population get out of control, you get screwed. THAT is what the corpse worms should be

Sounds like you dont have enough mainstat for the sewers. I splat them in one hit.

Even if you can kill them in one hit, they're too fast to hit but just BARELY fast enough to dodge with most weapons, so it turns into a game of "who can attack first the quickest".

Chill out, looks like the devs heard you. I just posted the patch notes for the new build.

Personally i never had issues with them, but eh, looks like the devs agreed with you.

My biggest problem is in Fjord. In Fjord I had 6-7 brutality if I remember correctly. Regardless, they should almost ALWAYS be one-hitters. Their challenge should be CROWD CONTROL, not teleporting and high HP.

you definitely have too low mainstat if you dont have more. Did you explore enough? also make use of the shops. I usually reach fjord with 10-12 mainstat.
