There should be some invincible frames after being hit!
When using melee build,it's often to get killed by taking high frequent damage.
Because of the hit stun and the attack animation,player can not do anything to counter.
That makes the risk of using melee attack too high.
It seems there is no invincible frame after being hit in this game.
Hope you can add this,that makes the gameplay more smooth.

I disagree. If you look at SOTN you can very easily get stunlocked to death and I'm okay with it in that game. I think the issue in this game has to do with enemy balance more than stunlock.

Can't agree,in SOTN anytime you take damage,it shows a red flash on Alucard,in that period of time you are invincible,and it's not short!
Alucard will be knocked back for a short distance,and can't act anything in that time,but you can still input instructions,which will act right after the red flash is over,evenif in the damage area,for exp transform into fog or cast fireball or maybe just attack or hold the sheild.And in that way,you countered,no matter what situation you'v been in.

you can test it in the top of reverse castle,there is a lot of octopus there.

I feel like it adds to the challenge. Getting hit and having a few seconds of invincibilty means if you have the health you can just spam a boss or enemy after taking a hit purposedly. This current build forces you to be careful and weigh risk....
