Daily Challenge door not appearing in Prisoner's Quarters

While I just figured out I can access the daily though the menu, I'm not routinely restarting the game because I'm playing on Steam Deck... so I'd rather access it from the Prisoner's Quarters in game... however, there is no daily challenge door... or if it's there I can't find it.

It's not behind the scribe. And it's not in the side map with the tailor and the training room... so am I missing it or is my save/game bugged? How can I get the map to generate the door where it's supposed to be?
