Opening the Game Opens A Windows Command Prompt Window?

So, whenever I open Dead Cells, it also opens the Windows Command Prompt, as if it's using that to open the game (meaning it comes up with this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dead Cells\deadcells.exe"). But it doesn't close the window until I close the game, too; it just minimizes it while I'm playing.
I can still play the game just fine. I'm just confused why it does this; is it normal?

Can confirm, I have the same issue, and cannot resize the game without a crash anymore.

Have you solved this issue? I have a similar one (I can launch the game and see that 'motion twins' sign, but then I can only see a black screen ).

I still have the issue of a windows command prompt opening after I open the game. Not sure what issue you're having, but is the black screen a command prompt window or no?
