Now the game will detect the controller.
This is very frustrating I've been a big fan of this game but it feels like they didn't test on every platform before releasing the DLC. It is disappointing that they are leaving some of their users feeling forgotten & unheard.
Luckily I found your post and went into Dead Cell's properties and set my controller options to "Enable Steam Input" instead of "Default". That seems to have fixed my issue.
The really weird thing is, I don't ever remember having this problem with the game before, and I've had Dead Cells since Early Access. I've been away from the game for a while...maybe some recent patch brought up this issue.
