Stuck in loading screen

Ok so wanted to hop in to check out new update, but after trying to load from menu into game, i'm getting stuck on loading screen, it loads for few seconds before just locking up and not responding, having to use task maneger to get out, and probably important info i'm on Win10

Can you just start a new run from the main menu instead of continuing your old run? That used to be the common fix for what might be a level generation error because of the update.

Well it got fixed for me after 1st patch

well, it helped just for a run or two. i can't understand why, but random loading screens to the next levels sometimes crashes my game, and i receive a "don't respond" message.
wait for the patches, i think

I just encountered this now. Starting a new game doesn't help. The game becomes unresponsive at the level loading screen. already tried verifying game files.

Even after the update, I still wasn't able to load my old save.
