The whole minion idea thing is quote funny, seeing alot of games gain "Pets", "Minion", or "Companions" lately. Its the new orange for Multiplayer, playing with AI cooperatively.
You suppose to send a First Class Priority 24h Signed letter to Moton Twin HQ or something? Am I missing important feedback report system or I am just stupid?
Okay so im not going to claim to know how Twin Motions fixes/update their game. But I do have several friends who have made some of the most successful indie games in recent history. How bug fixes usual works is you fix the bug and send it to the QA team, who then checks that its fixed and no new bugs have shown up. Because this can usually be very time consuming (unless its like a game breaking bug). Most developers (again, from my point of view) send fixes in bulks. And then it takes a week or two for it all to be confirmed working. If new bugs show up, you have to repeat the process. You never want that, because people on forums get pissed about why stuff is taking so long.
For console this is even more complex, since they have their own QA teams or sometimes even their own developer team for the console port. Microsoft/Sony/Nintendo do NOT want to put forward patches with bugs. Since its pretty much always bad publicity towards them if something goes wrong. This is the reason you pretty much always see delays in console patches for games.
But the whole process is more complex than just tweaking a bunch of code lines and then sending out the patch. Most developers fix stuff really fast and for indie developers it can sometimes feel frustrating going on their forums and reading peoples comments on how "♥♥♥♥ aint fixed". Knowing that stuff is already fixed, your just waiting for QA to confirm so you can start working on the next alpha/beta or send the patch out.

Mny minor things were reported and fixed pretty fast, or cooldown Owl bug has been fixed, so there was update including this skill.
Bu, yeah, I understand fixing bugs is not most important commitment right now I guess, where only small part of the team (which is small anyway, lol) is taking care of Dead Cells, and yeah, after fixing single bug, 10x other one, will show up. Humans are just humans, i get it, everyone makes mistakes, sometimes smaller, sometimes bigger, and sometimes you don;t even notice somethong doesn't work like it should.
