Even if i give the developer the benefit of the doubt and just assume they couldn't find any other solution for implementing their DLC besides making the base game worst for everyone who hasn't bought it yet i'd still say that's a major skill issue they should probably work out before i think about supporting them again. If they set it up that way on purpose well let's just say that's the kind of BS i'd expect from a studio such as EA and i wish them all the success that EA is currently experiencing.
In what world do you live that walking down the Castle Outskirts entry corridor means you can't beat the level in under 2 minutes?? Not to mention the fact that you can tell if it's the Castle entrance from the first 2 foot into the corridor??
In what way does it make the base game worse? Like it literally doesn't take anything away from the game if you don't have the DLCs, it's not like you can't get the true ending without them?
I was especially disappointed to find I needed DLC to get that weapon that requires the Konami code
