Is it just me, or is Baseball Bat so damn satisfying to use? Not only that, using it with Throwable Object completes it very nicely. Baseball Bat's damage seemed very high compared to other weapons as well. I've just been using this setup most often since it is most fun to be played with and is fast-paced. But ofc, Throwable Object needs to be swapped out to shield for boss fights.

It is a pretty cool weapon, but it definitely should not be Survival-scaling. Having an incredibly fast, high-damage weapon like the Baseball Bat with the health and survivability of Survival is overpowered. (Not to mention that the bat's design is entirely counter to the philosophy of Survival, that being slow-but-heavy-hitting.)

Another point I recently heard mentioned is the fact that the Baseball Bat is basically just a straight-up better Nutcracker, and changing the bat to be a pure Brutality item would resolve that problem. Besides, you can still use it on Brutality with off-color utility skills like Throwable Objects or Stun Grenade, since you aren't using those items for damage to begin with.

If I were to venture a guess, synergy with hard cc (which is part of survival theme) is what gives it green scaling. Probably still should be pure red, though.
