How can i find those cursed biomes

4BC here. I've never encountered a cursed biome, how come ? Is there a special requirement to unlock those ?

Cursed biomes have a big Skull icon in front of the door before entering a new area. They appear at 2BC and more, higher difficulty means more cursed biomes, except boss stage.

That's what I read too. But I've literally never encountered one, even by mistake. And i've been playing 2BC for quite a while (was stuck on 3BC until very recently).

Is there another condition i'm not fulfilling ?

You do use the beta branch of Dead Cells, do you?

The update that introduces cursed biomes never released before Evil Empire stopped developing the game.

What do I need to do exactly ?

oh yeah you need the last update
-right clic on the game name in the library then select properties (the bottom option).
-In the new menu, choose BETAs option
-in the rolling window, select the public_beta - Your progress will be saved.
Normally Steam should redownload the game with that version and the news monsters and cursed biomes should appear.
