How does the device connect to your TV? What programs on your device send output? What connectors will your TV work with?
For instance, if I were to connect my relatively new computer to my much older TV, I'd need a specialized cable for video, then I'd have to send audio through another cable. HDMI can handle both audio and video, in most cases, assuming the other devices work that way, too.
So, that's the main thing right now: what are you using to play Dead Cells, what cables are being used to transmit to the TV, what TV do you have, and how does it accept input, and what background processes on your device are sending that data?
All I can think to do is to check your audio settings and see what the output is set to.
Could also be worth checking your GPU settings... I've had to fight with Nvidia settings for years now because it wants to send my audio through HDMI to my monitor (without speakers, of course). Every update, it changes it back to HDMI.
But I'd still recommend looking at your sound settings, and seeing what the output is set to when connected to your TV. Beyond that, I'm not quite sure.
I have to first of all open the volume mixer, then open the game and as the game boots up, click on the volume mixer again so that is at the front of the screen.
No idea why, but this solves the problem.
Thanks for the solve
I was having the same problem and this solution worked lol. I'm using Windows 11.
Very weird solution but it works lol thank you though
