1/2 way through 2023 and still no ultrawide support...
Unless I'm missing something, have the dev's ever explicitly stated why they don't / haven't implemented ultrawide (UW) support for PC? It's quite baffling considering the mobile build of this game supports everything from your standard phone, which has an aspect ratio not too far off 21:9, to the Galaxy Z Fold 3 without any issues... The UI is obviously robust enough, displaying those extra pixels would have next to no impact on performance or break anything as the mobile builds have demonstrated, so I ask what's stopping them from just making this available to us?

UW are a lot more common, in this day and age 2 of the most basic features I'd expect from any PC port is button / key remapping and UW support...

I agree that it should be implemented, but as I understand it, it's not there because it gives an advantage to speedrunners. If it were up to me, I'd have a specific mode for that and let us noobs play at whatever settings.

Wow! really? I completely agree, a solution like that would service both types of players with everyone walking away happy. I have to admit, although I don't know what percentage of gamers speed run this, I don't imagine it's a significant amount of the overall player base. So to hear basic PC features aren't supported because of it, is really disappointing. I hope they do a 180 on this soon.
with so many accesability options that's a really weird reason to not add ultrawide suport lol
Did devs ever respond why there is no ultrawide support? There was working mod for this which seems to be broken now by Castlevania DLC
