Dead Cells is baaically a classicvania game with snappy gameplay from most moderm action metroidvanias. All this backtracking is par of the course in this genre, so it's not aomething to cry over. Plus... the average run with this game is, at most, half an hour on a slow average, to a whole hour long on a touristic leisure pace to whichever final boss path you took, (if you have the other DLC installed.)
i was surprised when i read the info about the castle the first time. i was like...but you can enter every level just once... but it is the only one now that can be entered from different areas.
to farm skins and stuff, the early exit might be better at first.
But it's not the same level. One of them leads you to a fight with Death, and the other one has a special miniboss and leads you to a fight with Dracula. They even show up on different parts of the world map. So they are not the same at all by the game's own admission.
Sure. Why not? You can do that with the Queen and the Sea DLC path.
just choose one.
all other dlc can be finished like the queen levels... just not this one. but CV also got the richter level. it is different, and i really don't mind that i have to decide when i go to the castle or which version i want.
it will not change, so either accept it or refund...
